King’s Pharmacy is proud to bring a new service to Western North Carolina and North Georgia. FREE DELIVERY! We have been talking about doing this for awhile now as we have seen a need. Unfortunately, lack of transportation is one of the top reasons patients don’t refill their medicine on time. Well, we aim to fix that barrier and improve the health of our community. It is our responsibility. Read below to see how it works:
- Step 1 is getting all of your maintenance medications on the same schedule. What this means is that all of your medications will be filled once a month, on the same day. No more wondering if you have refills or which medication you were almost out of. We take care of that. We’ll even deal with your insurance company!
- Once all of your medications are synced up, we can begin delivery.
- Each household is eligible for one free delivery per month. For a family, we would simply time your medications to be filled on the same day.
- You will be assigned a delivery route that rotates every 28 days, ensuring that you never run out of medicine and that you know exactly which day of the week you will get your medications delivered every month.
- You will also receive one phone call a month from the pharmacy to discuss your medications, any side effects, or any changes.
- You will have the option of selecting our innovative pharmacy packaging. Eliminates cumbersome vials and your weekly pill box. CLICK HERE to see a short video.
- If we sell it in the store and you need it (everything from vitamins and supplements, to canes, to hygiene products) just let us know before your scheduled delivery! We’ll be happy to special order items as always.
- Compounded prescriptions are included!
That’s it! Hopefully that told you a little about our process and answered a few questions.
One thing I’ll mention is that this service is not intended for short term therapy or same day prescriptions (things like emergency room meds or antibiotics). We can try to deliver those if we get them before our 10am cutoff same day or 4pm cutoff next day, but there will be a charge of $10 for this expedited service.
