GLP-1 Injections
Certain GLP-1’s can be compounded by compounding pharmacies. Currently, we have the ability to offer semaglutide and tirzepatide to our patients. Prescription is required. Your physician can order it for you or we can refer you to a physician familiar with medical weight loss that can order it.

If you do not have a doctor, or your doctor is not familiar with compounded medications, or if they are not willing to prescribe it to you, give us a call and we can refer you to someone local, or you can use the below telemedicine option.

Some notes, since these a custom made compounded medications that are made specifically for only you, it is not made until the prescription is received as well as payment. Once the RX and payment is made, please allow for 3-5 business days for us to complete the order. The same goes for refills. We attempt to reach out 10 days prior to your supply running out, but in case we can’t make contact, we recommend reaching out to order refills, at the very latest, when you do your 3 injection for the month.
What is a GLP-1 Injection?
Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists were originally developed to treat diabetes and were found to cause weight loss in patients taking them. They have been shown to decrease food intake by slowing down gastric emptying and in 2021, the first GLP-1 medication received FDA approval for weight loss. These should be used in addition to a diet & exercise program, not in place of a diet & exercise program.
